Marta Singh started school the year before the last military dictatorship took over Argentina. When it ended, she was two years away from starting university. Marta grew up looking at a sign posted everywhere in Buenos Aires that portrayed a woman in her thirties holding her index finger to her pursed lips. The message read: “Silence is health.” This solo work weaves into story the public history of Argentina and Marta’s personal past, in an artistic effort to tear that sign down.

Landscapes of Silence tells the story of two silences and two redeeming conversations. It is a story of crossing lines that were not meant to be crossed and of the longing to story what has no voice but our own.

La jauge est limitée à 10 places en solo, et 4 places tandem (chaque place tandem est valide pour 2 personnes). Les places tandem sont réservées aux personnes partageant une même adresse. Elles sont situées sur les extrêmes côtés de l’espace scénique et ne donnent donc pas la meilleure vue, c’est pourquoi nous vous offrons un léger rabais à l’achat de ces places.
